Among the best rookies playing in the NFL right now, DeMarco Murray has become a developing star in Dallas over the last couple of weeks. The former Oklahoma Sooner star has risen from being the third string running back, behind Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, to being the every-down back. He has been very great at running the football, averaging a respectable 6.7 yards per carry 2.4 yards more per carry than he had in his last year in college. He has been so good at running that he is rumored to start even after Felix Jones recovers from his injury.
The success of Murray should not come as a surprise, at 227 pounds and a stature of 6 feet, heavily built with muscle from head to toe along with incredible speed, he is a monster when he plays and a very hard player to tackle. These characteristics along with smart football intellect and a great field sense make him the perfect formula to be a star running back in the NFL. Murray has already made a huge impression on the team, coaches, and on owner Jerry Jones. Coach Garrett complements him especially about his improvement and his hard work, and Jerry Jones wants him to be Dallas’s number one running back.

I still hate him for running all over Texas when he was at OU
