After a rich history of winning seasons, playoff victories, and super bowl appearances and wins, Browns have always been considered a power house. But recently they have falter, it has been eight years since the Cleveland Browns have reached the playoffs, and only during one of those years have they had a winning record, all of the rest of the seasons they have had a string of losing seasons, missed playoff appearances, and a string of last place finishes. But Cleveland thinks they have found a solution. Colt McCoy of Texas, who holds the record of most wins in NCAA history, is their quarterback of the future. After being projected as a first-rounder in the 2009 draft, Colt McCoy was dropped into the third round. Browns who wanted to draft him in the first round but had other problems to address in their team just couldn’t believe their luck and use their draft pick on him. McCoy was supposed to be tutored for a while but after untimely injuries, he started in the 6th week of his rookie year. Though going through a losing streak, McCoy was able to engineer wins over the then defending champions, New Orleans Saint, and the team who had the best record the Patriots. Now with McCoy leading them, the Browns have started 2-1 and are tied for first in the toughest division. Though still a young and developing quarterback, McCoy looks to achieve the kind of wins he had when he was in college, record setting ones. With him at quarterback, the Browns think they have found a solution to their problems.
